I disagree with Daniel Pipes on foreign policy and pre-emptive wars. Western powers should stay out of the Middle East. That is true for Iran as it was true for Iraq. As for your question, remember that the European Union gave 600 million Euros (about 650 million US$) to the Palestinian Authority. The Middle East is not self-sufficient.
