I think Mr. Ali knows better that it is unacceptable to take one or more verses from Qur'an or the Bible and build his or here unvderstanding on it. We know better enough as Muslims that it is against our religion to force someone to become a Muslim even though we believe that the whole world can not become Muslims and that is why we have in our religion a a big selection of how to deal with Non-Muslims in an Islamic country.

And for the Jizya, it is like what you pay now as a tax because the govenment is building roads and using that tax for the benefits of all citizens. Again, when looking at the life of many khalifas during the Islamic Emperior, they are many times when the Khalifa ordered that if anyone can not afford to pay the jizya or tax, than that is acceptable,
