Cause of the Muslim predicament

Reader comment on item: How the Cartoon Protests Harm Muslims [by Leading to a Separation of Civilizations]

Submitted by Robert D. Klimek (United States), Feb 17, 2006 at 09:44

The Muslim predicament is caused by one thing and one thing only: Islam itself. No society burdened with such an ideology will ever develop a modern economy. The Islamic nations will always exist either as parasites on civilization, or as looters of same. The violent, intolerant, and immutable Koran justifies this relationship for all time.

"Self-pity, jealousy, resentment, anger, and agression" are built into Islam. Nothing we do or don't do will ever change that. The Islamic countries should be isolated in every way and publicly exposed, mocked, and despised. Only when they are forced to sleep in the bed that Islam made for them, will they perhaps start the introspective process required for them to jettison Islam and to join civilization.
