Dear Harrak

You have great questions and trust me not easy to answer

They remind with a story in the bible about St. Augustine, he had similar questions to yours, once he was walking on the beach and very confused about GOD entity, and how GOD can be three in one, suddenly he saw a little boy digging a hole on the beach and trying to bring water with a little cap from the sea to the hole, "what are you doing" St. Augustine asked, the little boy said "I want to transfer all of the water in the sea to this little hole", "this is impossible" St. Augustine said, the boy replied if you think that this is impossible, then why are you trying to understand GODs entity with your little brain. And the boy disappeared. St. Augustine realized that this little boy was an angel sent to him from GOD

Having said that, it doesn't mean that we should not question and try to gain wisdom and knowledge but we should also understand our limits as human beings. GOD concept of justice, love, mercy, death, pain and suffering is different than our concept. We at a certain level should understand that we are not capable to know GOD and to fully understand his plans to us, if we know him or understand his plans it is only because of Gods gift to us through his prophets and mainly through his salvation that was fulfilled by Jesus Christ.

Humanity since Adam chose to be away from the creator, all of the evil done throughout history is a choice of humans, GOD had a long journey with mankind to prepare them for the salvation, it is like the journey of a parent to a child until the child becomes a matured adult, GOD is in journey with mankind he is continuously preparing us and provide us with endless opportunities to accept his love and salvation which was accomplished by his son Jesus Christ, but without enterfering with our freedom of choice.

GOD doesn't change his mind, free of choice was among many other gifts he provided humanity, it is us who choose to be close or away from him.

The pain, the disasters, the suffering and the death described in the OT are all part of this universe and it is still happening today, we look at the suffering and ask why does GOD do this to us, the answer is simple, GOD doesn't do this to us, he only permits it because it is part of this universe. GOD permits death because death is not a punishment it is simply part of human journey. GOD however offered salvation through Jesus in order to prevent us from Eternal death (which is the punishment of sins). Jesus with his death on the cross promoted the suffering, pain and death to a higher level, through Jesus we know that physical death is not death anymore, it is a celebration it is the most free moment a person can have, it is the opportunity to meet almighty GOD and prevent us from eternal death in order to have eternal life. Sin however is the real death and it is the separation from GOD almighty.

Harrak, please keep on questioning, keep on looking, GOD provided this gift to you in order to see his salvation and his love, hopefully you can see Jesus' role in your life.

Peace be with you
