Murder of Christians in Nigeria

Reader comment on item: How the Cartoon Protests Harm Muslims [by Leading to a Separation of Civilizations]

Submitted by Richard the Lion heart (United States), Feb 20, 2006 at 15:40

As we expected, it was only a matter of time before the mass of angry muslim picked on their prefered targets.Christians. In Nigeria, churches have been burnt to the ground and 16 Christians murdered. All in the name of allah and Muhammad.

I'm sure Harrak and the others will find a fine excuse for this act of barbarity. But we know better. We know the reason these violent demonstration are being carried out. ... This is not the first time this has happened in Nigeria. They have a track record of murdering Christians and burning their churches. And if we look deeper most muslim countries have that same record. They greatly fear the rise of Christianity, especiallly in Africa and Asia. So any excuse they can find to attack Christians is a priceless gift from Allah.
