Submitted by HARRAK (Canada), Feb 18, 2006 at 20:10

Lisa, please go back to that comment and read the disclaimer at the end of it..I respect christianity and that was just doing to the bible what they do to the Quran to see the reaction and unveil hypocricy My deepest respect to you exceptionaly.

Richard the lion, you asked why I used the Exodus only. here is some more and more will be submitted up request: (Disclaimer: comments following the verses reflect the method participants use to portray the Quran and do not represent my opinion) for the following, the sourse is: King James version.

Judges 1:
4: And Judah went up; and the LORD delivered the Canaanites and the Perizzites into their hand: and they slew of them in Bezek ten thousand men.
5: And they found Adoni-bezek in Bezek: and they fought against him, and they slew the Canaanites and the Perizzites.
6: But Adoni-bezek fled; and they pursued after him, and caught him, and CUT OFF, CUT OFF, CUT OFF HIS THUMBS and his GREAT TOES.
(no wonder Taliban got inspired along with Anglos who observe the 10 commandments in Iraq..)

Lion, find me a verse in the Quran where the comander of the believers orders cutting fingers in War! if you are sayying cutting the hand for stealing is an islamic law, we answer you that steading in the Exodus is punished by capital punishement, so do not even go there.

As for the 10 commandments as the basis of the western civilization. NO the basis of the western civilization is the ZERO: 0, the Arabs invented sorry, refer to the french and british revolution and the separation between the church and state etc..just come to my mind for those who ask the Muslims to give away western technology, well the west should cease the use of 0 and Arab numbers and go back to I (one) II (two) three (III) four Viii etc...

Grosso, I am not making alliances here to express comments with Amir, but I have the right to agree and disagree. I advise you to look for the alliances that come down on me like rain, yet I accept and discuss with them in a friendly environment..

Amir keep making very good points, so I salute his critical thinking. I do not salute the thinking inspired by beer and pop corn..fyi
