in response to reader comment: CHALLENGE part 3, WHO IS GOD! the problem of translation in Middle Eastern religious thoughts

After reading your posts to Pipes' web site, I'm seriously thinking of converting to Islam.

While I'm impressed with your superior arguments and unparallel wisdom and knowledge, what really did it for me was the promise of Sura 44:54 Thus shall We wed them with Houris (Voluptuous women, beautiful virgins, of the Koranic paradise, dark eyed women) pure, beautiful ones. Sura 52:20 Reclining on thrones set in lines, and We will unite them to large-eyed beautiful ones; Sura 55:72 With dark large eyeballs, kept close in their pavilions. The promise of beautiful virgins, with large dark eyes and big bosoms is very inticing.

But, unfortunately my stubborn wife is forbidding me to convert because she says that the Qur'an does not promise women big handsome Muslim men with curly beards when they go to heaven. Please show me some Suras that promise women that they will have well endowed Muslim men for their pleasure when they go to heaven. This is urgent as my wife refuses to let me convert unless she is equally rewarded. If she continues in her stubborn way, can I beat her according to Sura 4:34? (as to those on whose part you fear desertion, admonish them and leave them alone in the sleeping place and beat them).
