Thank you, Dr. Pipes, for outlining the serious setbacks which have resulted and will continue to result in hardships, not only for our nations but more so for their own.

Any progress which they have achieved will deteriorate, as is evidenced by the history of its underdeveloped past.

What kind of economy will they have without the benefit of oil rich trade to the Western nations.

Even their religious fervor will not compensate for the lack of culturism that could follow - continuing the difficult living conditions of their people.

You brought this very clear to us and I thank you. Jeanne Zanger
