Reader comment on item: How the Cartoon Protests Harm Muslims [by Leading to a Separation of Civilizations]
in response to reader comment: To all supporters of freedom of speech

The more we insult others the more we lose our values and our civilization.

Freedom of speech should apply to all, I have high respect to Jews and I sympathize with them, no question that they went through hell. I have learned that my freedom ends when others' freedom start.

Laws would make sense if they are against all of those who spread hatred and discrimination whether to Jews, Muslims, Christians, etc.

The Pope is one of the people who condemned publishing stereotyping cartoons and called for respect to all religeons, I am catholic and so much support him in this

I think that same measures done to that writer should be done to those who created this wave of hatred. That includes the cartoonists and also includes the Imam who twisted the facts and went to Middle East and started his hatred campaign there.

These days the West call it art when they put Jesus statue in a urine tube and they put Virgin Mary statue in a condom as an ad to sex protection. They also call it art when they stereotype whole nation with terrorism, the more we do that the more moderate Muslims will become terrorists

We don't have to agree with Islam, but this doesn't give anyone right to discriminate against muslims.

May GOD bless you all
