Reader comment on item: How the Cartoon Protests Harm Muslims [by Leading to a Separation of Civilizations]
in response to reader comment: A challenge for Pat, Howard, hr and Pagan BIBLE and VIOLENCE (thanks Amir)

"Scenario 1 : The Koran repeats most of the stories of the Bible (the creation story, Abraham, Moses, Mount Sinai etc...) supposedly "confirming" the Bible.
Scenario 2 : If the Bible is a scam, well then of course so is the Koran "

There is no problem here from a Muslim perspective. Parts of the Bible are true and from God and parts of the Bible have been corrupted by human interference. Even your own Bible says that

Jeremiah 8:8: "How can you say, 'We are wise, and the law of the Lord is with us'? But behold, the lying pen of the scribes has made it into a lie."

Is Allah a scam? Your Biblical god is a scam too then because your fellow Christians who speak Arabic use 'Allah' in Arabic Bibles.

Also, when the western Christian fundies are trying to convert Muslims with pamphlets and propaganda, the word they use for 'god' is 'Allah' in these pamphlets. Are they lying and being dishonest like good Christians if they believe Allah is a scam? I suspect that is the case.
