Reader comment on item: How the Cartoon Protests Harm Muslims [by Leading to a Separation of Civilizations]
in response to reader comment: Which Muslims

Submitted by Timothy (United States), Feb 15, 2006 at 22:22

Your comments are very true. In times of conflict and fear all sides are guilty of broad generalizations. Hate is easy, love and tolerance takes work. As you can tell by my name I was raised a Christian. In trying to understand the Muslim world I have done my own research of the values and history of Islam. I have to admit Muhamnad's days in Mecca before he formed an army, I can understand. But his battles and conquest in the Medina period leave me speechless and concerned. I truly believe that there is good in every human. As the bible says we were all created in Gods image. I refuse to believe that blind hatred, intolerance, prejudice, murder and slavery is the reflection of our all mighty maker.
