mohammed,

i found your commentary very interesting and very well thought out. i do not know how life is in your country so i cannot comment on what goes on there. but a few points id like to point out if i may.

the american economy is growing at a nice rate again. if we are so hated, then why is everyone buying our products? what will you do in 10 years when alternative fuels are developed and noone is buying middle eastern oil any more? i am happy to see you are so confident and dont need western aid. then you would not have any hard feelings if when the next earthquake hits pakistan or iran and the west stays home. remember, if the same were to occur in europe or japan and we rushed aid and saved many lives you cant count on your old friend discrimination anymore.

and as for we needing you, thats your perception, not reality. the us doesnt need you except for oil and those days are coming to an end as well because if need be we can just pump our own oil. plenty of oil in alaska to drill that has never been touched. also america has the largest deposits of oil shale in the world and our scientists which are miles ahead of yours are already working on econmically feasible ways to extract the oil. and when the free nations of the world pool up their resources nobody is going to need anything from you so your market will be 3rd world undeveloped countries. good luck. you may want to take a look at where the bulk of the money from your products come from.

as for hated, well what can i say. lol everybody hates number one. but as an american i can only say that no one i personally know cares. and as for being afraid of bush, excellent. and i dont see anyone in the free world barring travel to america or americans from traveling to their countries or asking america to leave. so the animosity that is felt in europe is mainly political and has nothing to do with how the people feel about each other. why dont you start a poll asking the european people who they would rather have on their continent, the americans or the moslems and i think you will find quite a different story. and since thats what really matters, the free world, we squabble all the time but we work out our differences peacefully and diplomatically not like a bunch of out of control animals.

as for china, with the problems your people are causing in the shanghai province, it won't be long till they ask you to leave there as well and you can add the phillipines to that list. and since the phillipines and china are non moslem countries, it doesnt sound like self sufficiency to me. and in the end, the less money they spend in moslem countries, they can spend on israel, the one decent nation in the whole area.

thank you
