You certainly were parroting usual Christian missionary pamphlet of how the Qur'an confirms the Bible.

"I was born a Muslim. But I abandoned that religion some 20 years ago (I was utterly ashamed of it)."

I don't care dude. Millions of people have rejected Christianity and became atheists after reading the Bible. Millions of them also have converted to Christianity. Millions of Jews throughout history converted to other religions. Millions of people (far intelligent than you) have converted to Islam after reading the Qur'an. Muhammad Asad (a Jew) and Cat Stevens are two such examples.

I don't care about your personal opinion and experience. It proves nothing as personal experience of an atheist who used to be a Christian proves nothing.
