Dear Richard the Lion Heart,

In my post I was trying to demonstrate that Pat Robertson was not the exception. If you re-read my post you will see that I simply included quotes from various sources that show that in Christianity there are evil doers and inciters of hatred. There are even Christian apologists for crimes that might be committed by God's "people". You will also notice that I do not include any personal comments and remarks in my post that might lead anyone to think that the examples I have chosen are the norm rather than the exception. I know that the religious perpetrators of these crimes are the exception in the Catholic Church.

In your earlier post you wrote "... Imams in the muslim world routinely call for the murder of people who denounce their prophet or criticize Islam." What does this mean? Does it mean that all Imams, the majority of imams, some imams or few imams? Do you hold the view that all Muslim Imams incite their followers to murder? I don't believe that you do. So while there are some that might incite some people to murder, they are a small number; exceptions to the rule.

In your post "To Bader: don't distort history" you wrote: "Well are you saying the whole catholic clergy took part in it" --- again re-read my post and note that I said no such thing. So please do not put "words in my mouth".

You also wrote, "For you to try to portray this genocide as having been carried out by the catholic church is a distortion of history." Again I portrayed nothing, but lack of careful reading of the quotes I included might give you that impression. Please re-read the quotes and look for the following words: "several Catholic priests"; "many representatives "; " a bishop"; "several church societies". These phrases should obviously demonstrate that there was no attempt at portraying the whole Catholic Church as having carried out the genocide.
