The god of Mohammed....

Reader comment on item: Is Allah God? - Continued
in response to reader comment: God is Love

I agree with Linda. Growing up in a small town in Ohio, our church had "God is Love" in stone across the entrance. Perhaps the learned theologians can parse the meaning of Mohammed's message to mean God is Love, but it is only a judgement call. "What new thing did Mohammed bring? Only evil and inhumanity" Does not sound like Love to me. Mohammedism is the antithesis of love and the tool of violence. For Mohammedism to survive, violence is the only tool available. Compulsion, terror, fear, enslavement are the tool Mohammed chose, not God. The notion that all "Monothesim" is the same god makes no sense. One god among many does not mean the only god, it means the selected god. So it is with AL ALH. Meaning "The God" . Evidently Mohammed's tribe worshiped LAH which was the moon god. Mohammed made the moon god the god of Mohammedism. Allah is a selected god from others, not the one and only. In any case, not the God of love.
