There's nothing pedantic or dishonest, nor am I obfuscating. Simply put, those specific words that were repeatedly mentioned by Jennifer, are not found in that verse. It's rather surprising to observe this from someone who is inclined to scriptural literalism- and you haven't pointed them out either- so who's really "obfuscating"?

Sorry if you don't like what I'm saying, but all you've done is essentially post an ad hominem in reply to my very cogent point. After all, I pointed to another verse that contradicts what Jennifer posted:
Here's another:

"And whoever desires the Hereafter and strives for it as he ought to strive and he is a believer; (as for) these, their striving shall surely be accepted." [Qur'an 17:19]
