Our Dear Muhammad you wrote

>Ahem...

Ahem to you too.

>Quran means

Why do you tablighees have no clue about the Arabic language definite article al-? Let me correct you it is: al-Qur'an or the Qur'an! And why do you omit the glottal stop? You do not know Arabic do you? Urdu may be? But your Allah knows no Urdu.

>something that is READ

Bogus. If you read Q96:1 we can read:

Iqra' bi ismi rabak (oh do not panic as you know no Arabic) or _recite_ in the name of your God.

The word Iqra' means recite and it does not mean read and for this see Hans Wehr dictionary page 753B and the root of the word is QR' Or Qaf reh hamza.

And do you know why ya yauha al-faylasoof al-kabeer the word Iqra' means to recite?

Well we are told that Abul Qasim aka Muhammad was the ummi (uneducated) prophet. Right? This means our dear Abul Qasim aka Muhammad the Arabian war lord and caravan raider could not read but he can _recite_ Now do you get it our dear Muhammad al-tablihghee?

So the word Qur'an really means the recitation and not the read (sic) as you claimed. So much for your poor education.

But here is the gem of them all

>which kind of defeats the purpose of your argument

And what was the purpose of my argument? Now it is your chance to shine ya yauha al-fayalsoof al-kabeer.
