In vain

Reader comment on item: Is Allah God? - Continued

Submitted by Vijay (United Kingdom), Sep 26, 2006 at 05:18

All these exertions to find a common ground with Islam will be in vain. The Islamic dynamics had been seek political, social and legal supremacy - not find common grounds whether imagined or reeal.

If finding common ground with Christianity or Judaism has been the intention so that co-existence with equality is possible, such an initiative could have come from Muslims in all these 1300 years; but it has not. Such "common ground" proposed by Christians or Jews will only give Islam a breathing space to dominate them in the future with better preparations.

Islam is largely about power, political power, and less about co-existence.
