Dear Sohail,

You have quoted The Ot very well, There is so much more, such as Isaiah 43, vs 10, 45, vs 22, and many more that support both of our positions that there is but One God. Lets refer to God's own opinion of Israel in Isaiah Chapter 1, v's's 2, 3, 4. Verse 4 pretty well spells out Israel's standing with God. They had some shortcomings as far as God was concerned. But there is but One God by NATURE. I have shown you that God has a Son, from the OT Scriptures. We seem to have a linguistic barrier that we're trying to get over, I say that because I don't hear anything coming through from you that validates the words of Jesus Christ other than you agree that He is a prophet. You seem to ignore what He has to say of Himself. My friend, we cannot pick and choose what we wish to believe, we have to approach the texts on their own terms and NOT Exegete from the texts only what we wish to believe, Eisegesis, ( to read into the texts something it does not say totally confuses any issue discussed when there is an already existing text being referred to). When that happens we are judging God and that is not a comfortable position to be in.

Let me ask you plainly: Do you give any credence to the record of the NT ( apart from saying that Jesus is a prophet which you agree that He is) where Jesus says in The Book of The Revelation of Jesus Christ, that He is The Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the ending, the First and the Last, and further said: I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches, I am the root and offspring of David, the bright and morning star. And finally in Revlation 22, vs 20 He says: Surely I come quickly, Amen. ( so let it be). If you are receptive to the proof that the NT teaches that within the NATURE of THE ONE GOD there can be decerned three persons and the three persons are ALL called the ONE GOD then I would be delighted to provide that proof to you so that by accepting what Jesus says you wil not have believed in Him in vain. I welcome that opportunity and I hope that you will consider His words in your reasoning. EuGene
