in response to reader comment: Allah is Arabic

In Arabic a language that our dear simha cannot read speak or write the word God means Ilah إله

http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/%D8%A5%D9%84%D9%87

The word THE GOD means al-Ilah الإله

Do you get it so far our dear Simha who quotes kuffar sources? but again those Muslims from India and Pakistan like you have no clue about the rule of al al-ta3reef in the Arabic language

Now al-Tabari tells us that the word al-Ilah was contracted by unknown Arabs et voila it is now Allah

But here is the word God in Arabic as well as in Syriac and Hebrew

http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/%D8%A7%D9%84%D9%84%D9%87

Contraction of الإله (al 'ilāh, "the god") to الله (allāh, "God"). Cognate with the Aramaic אלה (aláh) and אלהא (aláhâ), and Hebrew אֵל (él), אֱלוֹהַּ \ אֱלֹהַּ (elóah) and אֱלוֹהִים \ אֱלֹהִים (elohím); ultimately from Proto-Semitic *ʾil-.

Can you read the above and tell us what it says?

Now back to al-Tabari who provides a very interesting tradition in his exegesis of the word Allah so consult your Mullah if heknows Arabic to translate it for you

So the source of this tradition is no other than Muhammad where he says that Jesus (it makes you wonder did Muhammad meet Jesus) and Muhammad said that Jesus' mother sent him to al-Kuttab (read this as Midrash) so he can learn and the teacher told him write Allah Jesus said to him do you know what is (the word) Allah? Allah Ilah al-Aliha (the God of Gods)

I'm sure you agree with me our dear Simha that Jesus did not speak Arabic and he spoke Aramaic (oh Syriac is really middle Aramaic the lnaguage that was spoken in the 7th century during the time of Muhammad) so the word Alaha aka Allaha aka Allah would have been known to him now do you get it?

. أَنْ يُقَال : اللَّه جَلَّ جَلَاله أَلَهُ الْعَبْد , وَالْعَبْد أَلَهَهُ . وَأَنْ يَكُون قَوْل الْقَائِل " اللَّه " مِنْ كَلَام الْعَرَب أَصْله " الْإِلَه "

Blah...blah....blah then he says: Allah is from the words of the Arabs and its origin is from al-Ilah

It makes you wonder how did Jesus know that?

فَإِنْ قَالَ : وَكَيْف يَجُوز أَنْ يَكُون ذَلِكَ كَذَلِكَ مَعَ اِخْتِلَاف لَفْظَيْهِمَا ؟

Or and if he says how is this possible (that the Arabic word for the God is al-Ilah and now we have this word Allah for God) inspite of the fact that they are different words

Do you get it our dear Simha? Then al-Tabari uses what is called in the Islamic masora التبرير or justifying the absurd

Then he gives an example of

لَكِنَّا هُوَ اللَّهُ رَبِّي

Or Lakina huwa Allahu Rabbi That it was contracted from

أَصْله : وَلَكِنْ أَنَا هُوَ اللَّه رَبِّي

Or it comes from Wa Lakin ana huwa Allahu Rabbi

This is what your Arab mastsers called التبرير or to justify mistakes and he blames كَمَا قَالَ الشَّاعِر

So he is blaming a poet for this liguistic mistake as if the author of the Qur'an is the poet and not Allah

Do you get it? then we have the usual blah....blah....blah... then he says

فَكَذَلِكَ اللَّه , أَصْله الْإِلَه

Or and this is why Allah is derived (read this as contracted from) al-Ilah

Notice that he also told us that Allah really means God and not the God as he now claims

Now this liguistic disaster continues then he says

1. أُسْقِطَتْ الْهَمْزَة

Or the hamza in al-ilah is contracted but the disaster here is there no letter hamza in the Quranic rasm

2. فَالْتَقَتْ اللَّام الَّتِي هِيَ عَيْن الِاسْم , وَاللَّام الزَّائِدَة الَّتِي دَخَلَتْ مَعَ الْأَلِف الزَّائِدَة , وَهِيَ سَاكِنَة , فَأُدْغِمَتْ فِي الْأُخْرَى الَّتِي هِيَ عَيْن الِاسْم , فَصَارَتَا فِي اللَّفْظ لَامًا وَاحِدَة مُشَدَّدَة

et voila the alif is gone and al-Ilah becomes Allah

Does any of this make sense our dear simha? and is the Qur'an the lnguage of a poet or the lalguage of your Allah you tell us and here is the proper Arabic for al-Basmala

بإسم الإله الرحمان الراحم

Instead of this poor Arabic بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

The painful truth is the Arabic word for Allah is from Syriac Alaha/Allaha

I really feel sorry for you
