Reader comment on item: Is Allah God? - Continued
in response to reader comment: elaboration

Good works, supplication, obedience, piety, etc, etc, may please the deity, but paradise in the presence of the deity is another matter. The mythology is unambigious in its requirement of the sacrifice of human life in the cause of "Islam" to gain paradise in the presence of the deity. It is this core dogma that animates, motivates, and gives purpose to the "Sword" of Muhammed. This extends to apostates, 'infidels', Jews, and any real of perceived threat to the mythology. The merits of the dogma cannot stand on its own without this 'gift' given to the believers by the deity thru Muhammed. It is this aspect, more than any other, that gives rise to the Homicidal/suicidal ideation and the associated behaviors we see in those who lack the sophistry and nuance of metaphor and symbolism and act out the literal instructions of the mythology.

Suicide may be forbidden, but killing yourself while also killing the non believers is considered 'jihad'. This dogma serves to create a distorted personality, because it conflicts with basic human instinct for preservation of the 'self', and provides the pathology for the execution. Leaders of the mythology obsecure the reality with "Martyrdom operation" or other non threatening verbage to obscure what is, in reality, a murder suicide pact. This is the "Muslim Persomality Disorder" or syndrome. It is a mental health pandemic, involving millions of people, mostly uneducated, isolated within the tribe or community, and forbideden by custom, dogma, and 'law' to eithe leave or reject the mythology. Best regards, and thanks for your inquiry.
