in response to reader comment: Allah means "God" for Arab Christians and is found in the Arabic Holy Bible.

Our Dear Zzazz wrote this little gem

>Here is another WHY?

Oh I' m waiting with great anticipation

>One of the most overlooked points in this entire [age of ridiculous babble is the simple fact that if you a) read Arabic (I do) and b) have a copy of the bible in Arabic (I do) you will find the name "Allah" therein, mentioned a considerable quantity of times.

Oh I can also read Arabic and i have a copy of the Bible in Arabic! So what is your point?

>I cannot copy and paste Arabic text in this window for you, but rest assured, it is in there.

Let's take John 3:16:

"La inna hakadha ahubba ALLAH al 'alam hatta badhal Ibnahul wahid..."

"For God so loved the world that he gave his only son..."

Not a bad translitration but you sound like Pakistanis our dear Zzazz as ibnahul Wahid is really: Ibnahu al-wahid! or his only son

But what is really your point?

>Ask your friendly Arab Christian about this, before you jump on the bandwagon of demonizing FOREIGN-SOUNDING deities so nonchalantly. If only American evangelicals could ever possibly manage to figure this out? Well, I'm sure the missionaries who go abroad have learned this, but most stateside have yet to fathom it.

So our dear Zzazz who has poor command of al-tafkeer al-3aqli wa al-falsafa so what is really your point? Explain it to us? So you tell us is the God of the Christians in the Middle East is also your Arabian Allah? Hint: their God is Jesus. But wait the Qur'an says that jesus is a prophet and a God too so may be you are correct. Wanna know more our dear Zzazz?

>Taj is right- I would only add that it is the Arab view- BOTH Arab Christians AND Muslims- that Allah is the one God of the monotheist Abraham.

I thought that the god of the Christian Arabs is Jesus! And who is Taj? A Paki?

>As far as why others outside of a religion are considered less than perfect by the adherent, that seems nearly universal. As far as the treatment of women is concerned, I can question as much about Judeo-Christian history as of Islam.

Islamic gobbledygook
