Definitely not God

Reader comment on item: Is Allah God? - Continued

Submitted by Char Tierney (United States), Sep 26, 2006 at 20:52

God is love. That rules out Allah as being God.

Allah claims that the idea that he (allah) has a son is monstrous, so that leaves him out as being the Father of Jesus, the God of the New Testament. He also claims that Abraham sacrificed (almost) Ishmael and not Isaac, so he can't be the God of the Old Testament. The God of the Old and New Testament are the same.

So who is Allah? He has been called "a liar from the beginning" and "a murderer from the beginning". The beginning of what? Our time. He lied in the garden of Eden, and he has been lying to mankind since, and he was there when Cain murdered Abel. (God had warned Cain that sin was crouching at the door ready to take him, and who crouched with sin but Satan?)

He is a god, called "the god of this world". He is a global being with unsurpassed powers (except by God Himself) who has been an enemy to mankind since the beginning. He nurses an intense unstoppable hatred of the real God, and takes it out on God's beloved creation, the creation that God valued enough to carry through with the sacrifice of His own Son - the sacrifice that He did not require of Abraham, which was only a sign of what was to come. As Abrahan prophetically told his son Isaac when questioned on their way up the mountain, "where is the sacrifice?" Abraham's answer: "God will provide it Himself".
