Allah is the unseen power for everyone, despite religion.Reader comment on item: Is Allah God? - Continued Submitted by Filiz (United States), Jun 3, 2008 at 18:24 There are 99 different names for Allah in Arabic. Some of these translate into the Almighty, the Powerful one, etc. None of the names are gender-specific, like "God" is. We do not use words like "God", because "God" suggests a male gender. Likewise, the term "Goddess" suggests a female gender. Allah refers to the power that we cannot see-- it is an unknown that is too complex for humans to understand. People can only feel Allah in their hearts, unless one is atheist. To say that any person has proof of the power's identity is absurd. It certainly is everyone's god, despite religion. Though Allah is God in a different language and slightly different understanding, it is nonetheless the idea of a higher, unseen power. Educate yourselves with real sources, not prejudice ones. Terrorism has nothing to do with religion, as it is a sin to kill even the smallest creatures.
