Allah is not VedicReader comment on item: Is Allah God? - Continued Submitted by zzazzeefrazzee (United States), Jun 17, 2008 at 20:33 "One of 360 Vedic dieties in the Kabaa." The idols in the Kaaba were not "Vedic". Second, the number 360 is not at all conclusive. "Mohammad chose Allah, the chief diety at the time, to replace the Judeo-Christian YHVH.' What are Arabic speaking Christians referring to when they use the term Allah. They do use it, or did you know that? Did you know tat the word "Rabb" is used in BOTH the Arabic bible and and the Qur'an in place of YHVH (much as "Theos" is used in place of it in theGreek Septuagint)?
