Reader comment on item: Is Allah God? - Continued
in response to reader comment: Attributes different of same God.

Hello,

You are right in that even though the Christians and Jews and the Muslims agree that there is but one God, that is where the similarities end. As atttributes define the character of the one God, so only the one God can fullfill those attributes in and of Himself. Only the Christians and Jews worship the God of the Bible because both accept the written record from the Holy Scriptures concerning the texts of the Old Testament. There the similarties end again. Enter the New Testament and the life of Jesus the Christ.

The one big hangup that separates any meaningful dialogue between the Christians and the Jewish community is this: "They will look upon Him whom they have pierced and mourn", The Christians have got to stop accusing the Jews of killing Jesus because it is not true. The Jews of that day did not have the authority to execute anyone, that authority rested with the Romans. It is true that there was involvement as there had to be those Jews who brought the accusations against Jesus, but that was a small group in contrast to the whole of the Jewish people. Until the Christian and Jewish communities can reach a consensus and agree that the whole drama of the life of The Christ took place on Jewish soil there will be no open honest sharing of the issue of God's sin bearerand division will remain. In the birth of Muhammed came the chance to plagerize the Word of God and the process of Eisegesis began in earnest and exists to this day. Islam is false religon and their prophet is a false prophet. These people are not responsble for what Satan has done to them (they are the victims). What they are responsible for is not responding to the Grace of God. Islam's motto hasn't changed: "We conquer for Allah, we conquer with the sword". These are people for whom Christ died and they are on their way to a Christ-less eternity with their holy book in their hands.
