Translation is not Original

Reader comment on item: Churches in Saudi Arabia?
in response to reader comment: sTs versions of Koran

Submitted by sTs (United Arab Emirates), May 27, 2008 at 07:01

Translations are not the original text - different translations have different meaning

The fact that until recently there were no original Arab national who translated Quran, All those who translated Quran, there mother tongue is not Arabic. Either Hindu, Pakistani, or English....., I am not happy with their translations, they do make mistakes

Some translators translate in a way on purpose to harm Islam and to give bad impression about the quran and Islam.

Recently Arab national whose mother tongue is Arabic started to emerge and translate the Quran, I hope they wiill bring the proper meaning of the verse from the older non-arab generations.
