The indoctrinated always look to the doctrine

in response to reader comment: More on a Christian church in Saudi Arabia

Gloria,

Excellent post.

We've had Muslims in the U.S. complain that they couldn't break noise codes or public nuisance codes for prayer calls, but new churches can't break noise codes or public nuisance codes with bells, either, so everyone is treated the same here. Only those present prior to the codes are "grandfathered in."

I've watched a lot of videos of "moderate" Muslim mosques, and they still preach hatred and dhimmitude towards those outside their group. I've been amazed at how venomous and extreme the "moderates" actually are. As more Muslims move into our area, it's chilling to see the men in shorts, tee shirts, and short hair licking ice cream cones while women follow them in head-to-toe black with a little screen for their eyes and no way to enjoy a cool treat on a sweltering hot day. Even grandmothers whose eyes show reflexively cover their faces more even when other women walk by. It's sickening how they've been indoctrinated--a lot like the FLDS sect that was recently uncovered in Texas, where females are concerned.

Until the stonings, honor killings, Muslim "religious" leaders calling for gang-rape of innocent girls and women because of the misdeeds of the menfolk in their families, female genital mutilation, and arrests of girls and women end for simply being in a restaurant or coffee shop without a male relative, we know that nothing much has changed. These girls and women are their own people. Why would they treat an outsider better?
