Science explains much better than ancient writings

Science explains all of these things better than a supernatural entity, whether it be called god, goddess, deity, or whatever. The Bible, the Koran, and other books have some predictions that have come true, but all futurists make predictions that come true.

I think Mohammed was a smart man, but no prophet. There is no evidence of prophets or of a supernatural being that you name "God," "Allah," etc. Those are just metaphors used by ancient people to teach the ignorant masses. People that some call prophets were simply people with intuitive abilities, which are still rare even today. It probably seemed magical in ancient times, before we understood this.

I think the Koran and the Bible both are dangerous books for the very reason that so many people who read them think they are true. That's what Moses, Paul, and Muhammed wanted--to fool people into believing in gods and prophets. It's all a sham.

Quoting verses from either book proves nothing. Both are instruments of social control, just as Moses, Paul, and Mohammed sought methods of social control that also gave them power.

Mohammed trying to claim he'd be the "last prophet," when prophets don't exist, or Paul claiming Jesus was "God," when "God" doesn't exist are both nonsensical. These were just ploys to convince people to believe what powerful and sly men wished for them to believe. Nothing more.

The Bible and Koran were mostly popular because of the advent of the printing press, since these were the two sets of writings primarily in play at that point in time. Again, it's just coincidence these writings happened to be the ones available to produce with the newly invented printing press.

I think religion itself is dangerous, and coupled with government it's repressive and destructive. What you've quoted here makes me more committed than ever to separation of church of state. This is the only way for all people to have the opportunity to overcome slavery and oppression--to rid the world of the ignorance that makes gullible people believe in ancient folklore.
