Reader comment on item: Churches in Saudi Arabia?
in response to reader comment: Politics not religion

"1) since is was based on politics, because some of them were against the rulers, then you cannot associate it with religion, turkey fight kurds and they kill them, both are muslims, so you cannot say that they are killing them because of religion, but because of politics"

But both are religious sects of Islam, so neither are following it's peacfull teachings? Or they are follwoing it's teachings, but not the peacfull ones? Just the ones they can use for there greed?

"2) Since this was done in the early 20th century, after long period since mohammad, as I said before rulers went far off the original teachings of Islam, and they only look for their interests politically."

True but isn't it then the duty of the followers of Islam to stop supporting these leaders who then clearly reject Islam teachings with actions and even actions to go against it's teachings?

"why pick on Islam?"

Well guess because they have the followes currently doing the evil right now.

The Americans did atrocities towards the native americans and they are remembered as such and Also the Americans have already officially appologised towards the natives americans.

All these past massacres your now using as a mean to tell me Islam followers aren't so bad currently. Are past... Again, past deeds don't excuse present ones. And as past where writtin with mentioning of those. The present crims should be hanled with as they are. Crimes against humanity. Crimes against freedom of religion, etc... and not be excused because in the past it happend, but as the past criminals recieved reactions, so do these latest deserve there just "reward".

I hope you understand this. Those people calling them Muslim but who aren't shoudn't be recieving any protection of Islam if any. Islam leaders should be advocating these terrorists as evil doers, followers of Satan, hiding under Islam banner.

Still waiting to see this happen though... and the longer I have to wait, the more people are using Islam to follow the path of Satan, the worse the name of Islam get's soiled... shoudn't True Islam followers go out and defend their religion against these terrorists and wrong doers? Shoudn't they act and protect Islam faith?
