Reader comment on item: Churches in Saudi Arabia?
in response to reader comment: You are ignorant of the facts

Thanks for the info about the mosques broadcasting azan in the west. That was new to me.

However, maybe it would help to know that churches do sound their bells in Egypt, lebanon, palestine, jordan and iraq.

You say that muslims want to impose their views on others. Well, who started this whole debate of wanting a church in saoudi arabia in the first place? Why do christians want to impose their views on muslims.

Muslims do not allow for churches in the Arabian peninsula. We believe this is part of our religion. If you do not agree with it, that's fine, that's your view. If christians living there do not like it, they can leave. as easy as that. no body forced them to go there. Let me remind you that christians in the arabian peninsula are not citizens but rather foreign workers. However, chritian citizens in other arab countries can live and practice their religion freely in their countries.

If you believe that islam doesn't tolerate other religions, then that's fine too. Obviously muslims do not agree with that but you can keep that view if you like it so much.
