I don't know about you but having mutliple wives makes your life all but simple according to me.

And him not seeking anything? why then the infidel tax? Why the 1/5 part of raids would have to be given to him, etc...

I'm certain he woudn't have had so many wives if he woud have accepted the oofer of the sun and the moon from these men. Don't you?

Mohammed had a motivation to have his wars, correct?

You say it wasn't greed but religious even divine, correct?

And about leaving nothing ot his family... He left them with land, power, followers, writings, a faith he can call his own, etc.... If they weren't in some form rich I would be astonished...

But please continue.
