Catholism prevailed in Europe during the Crusaders

Reader comment on item: Churches in Saudi Arabia?
in response to reader comment: Christian "Sects"...

I forgot to mention that during the crusaders time, Europe was catholic then,

Anglican split from the main roman catholic church in the late 16th century

Protestant split from the main roman catholic church in the early 16th century

Orthodox as early as Christianinty

Catholics in West Europe around 3rd or 4th century

Crusaders - 7th century

As you can see Europe was catholic during the crusader's time

As in Islam between Sunni and Shi'i, Christians do hate other sects, such as catholics would hate protestants or vise versa.

So when you say the crusaders is the work of 1, Europe was as a whole was Catholic, so the Christians in Europe supported the Crusaders
