Submitted by dhimmi no more (United States), May 5, 2008 at 06:51 الادنى is different than الادنا the former means lowest the later means nearest. full stop, what is written in the Quran is الادنى that mean lowest - besides there are other lands that are in similar distance as Palestine, you cannot say that palestine is the nearest. such as Etheopia, Yemen, Sudan, Eritrea Bogus Arabic. Lowest land means: al-ard al-munkhafida Nearest land means al-ard al-qariba The near east means: al-sharq al-adna or al-sharq al-awsat The far east means al-sharq al-aqsa And the term adna al-ard in the Qur'an means the nearer land.
