Aye, the pope asked them for 'help'.

But he's biggest motivation back then was his dream to acquire wordly power again. something he had mostly lost at that point thanks to those Kings of Europe.

BTW, the Pope is the Religious ruler of the Catholics, NOT the christians.

Guess you lacked that info again. The Protestants, the Anglicans are also Christians, but they have there own churh leaders. For example the queen of England is also a leader of a faith(I think the Anglicans), did you know that?

That Pilgrims where 'mistreated'(what an understatement) is but 1 thing.

And that crusaders stayed in the Holy land and married, what does that prove?

When muslims where cast out of Spain, many of them stayed also and converted to Catholisism.

That is no proove Katholics are so good, or Muslims did no harm to unbelievers.

I'm all awake, guess we can keep asking each other to wake up. And each time you think you tell me something I didn't know... But is this also the case for you?
