Hello, sTs,

It would help if you would indicate what you're describing with which verses you are reading.

God decided who was to be a prophet; who was born first had nothing to do with it.

God WAS NOT dependant on man with regards to who God chose to be a prophet - one brother "knocking out" another did not change God's mind. God knew the character of Jacob's older brother. The fact that Esau was older had absolutely no affect on God's decision on Jacob as prophet. God knew Esau would be worthless as a prophet.

Esau sold his BIRTHRIGHT, not any "prophethood" - he sold his BIRTHRIGHT to Jacob. Birthright means family inheritance - this does NOT involve being a prophet!

Look at David - God blessed him with more than any other human - David's reign as a King will only be surpassed when Christ Himself comes - and David was a little "nobody" who tended sheep. But he went on to be the greatest King of the Bible. Why? Because God knew what was in David's heart - David gave the Glory and Credit to God.

Even before David defeated the Philistine giant, David said, "The battle is the Lord's" - 1 Samuel 17:47

The fact that David had seven older brothers did not matter - David was to be King - because "the Lord does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart." - 1 Samuel 16:6,7

As far as someone getting drunk and fathering a child without remembering it, I think this has happened before, many times!

And the Bible was completed 500 years (at least) before the Qur'an was written - what this means, there is physical evidence of the Bible (A.D. 125), 500 years before there is physical evidence of the Qur'an (700 A.D.?).

Lastly, nowhere in the Bible does it state Satan worshiped God. ABSOLUTELY NOWHERE.

Again, if you will give me what verses you are refering to, I will understand your questions better.
