The latterReader comment on item: Churches in Saudi Arabia? Submitted by B. Williame (Belgium), Apr 30, 2008 at 04:35 You blame the media for shwoing the religious fanatics of the east and not of the west? Well they did show us those of the west... but there aren't many right now to be shown. IF an idiot start's shooting on the "Meir" in Antwerp Belgium, it comes into the news... him being a white caucasian, wearing black who aimed at a black women, it get's into the news and not just once... Perhaps you should give our reporters a bit more credit than you do. But not to much as I also know they follow orders where they are forbidden to use some words... For example when talking about Maroccans living in belgium they call them Native Northern Africans. I mean what do they think to accomplish with that? Never the less... In the west fanatics when activly doing wrong are recorded in our press... but ok, some Eastern fanatics possibly escape the news because of the situation there country is in. Any fanatical action done by religion in belgium in exception of Islam is reported. Why do I put Islam as an exception as that is the only religion our press has been given orders of "avoidance" Bad for them that some of us found out about it... Why would a Prophet be pure? He ain't holy and nothing more then a speaker for the words Allah wished to convey and in Mohammeds Case, not even a direct speaker as the words came from Gabriel the angel. I don't think Mohammed is there for so special? Like I've read in the bible.. Mozes asked to "the burning bush"(God), why me? Shurelly you could choose an other more able/capable them me... where "the bush"(God) told him something in the lines of... your it, why bother looking around. If your weak, I'll make you strong enough for my message to be send. Also making me consider that once the message was send Mozes was but human again and all desisions he made afterwards where he's own inperfect ones... Gabriel didn't stand all the time next to Mohammed as he visited him once a year or so in exception of the final year and then only to check if he's knwoledge of the Quran was good enough, correct? What makes him more pure/perfect then Moses? Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please.
