They were weak because they were under occupation - whether it is mind weak (or afraid on their lives) or weak in Military it all fits.

They were weak and they did not own or have the right to sell a land that does not belong to them.

Also how do you say the Arabs sold it , when it was under the british occupation, they did not have control of it. the british who brought the jews secretly through the nights, so that the palestinians would not know and make uprisings and revolt. but that did not work, because the palestinians knew and they did revolt.

Through the centuries, that area is always called palestine, even in the communications to give the land to jews they referred to the land as palestine..... IT IS PALESTINE
