"First and foremost, I am a servant and Slave of Allah "-

It is sad that there are people like you today . With so much advances in science and technology, that you do not posses the power of critical thinking - you still believe in Jinns and fairies........

Mr/Ms. Mu'een Ud Deen, lets see what you believe: you have have been told as a youngster that there is a invisible being living in the sky (Heaven), that nobody has ever seen nor spoken to, but they know exists because a book written in the 7th century says so. which has been dictated by an illiterate whose lifestyle is questionable. (he married a 6 year old child when he was 50 years old/ he waged war and terrorized his neighbors & had many wife's , including his adopted son's wife - correct me if I am wrong), who said he heard voices in a cave and remembered every "word by heart". Today we lock people up, who hear voices for their own safety & the safety of others in psychiatric hospitals. If questioned nobody ever admits to seeing this invisible all powerful being who has life and death of every human in his hands. But, you & "they" believe without questioning (critical thinking), the account by authors unkown that this being does exist. Nobody really knows who wrote the account or can verify the accuracy of it.

Of course, the better the written account, the more the gullible people will be inclined to believe it. But isn't the burden of proof on the "believers"? until there is solid evidence or proof, most people will just chalk it up as a hoax perpetrated on the uneducated masses.

Lets face it, over the years there have been accounts of aliens landing on earth, the yeti of the Himalayas, the loch ness monster in Scotland and so forth. We don't all just think "ok, you saw that in the news, then it must be true". Not so, we ask for intangible proof. The tabloids at Supermarkets may have a bunch of doctored photos as proof. The difference is that this hoax (belief in deities), took root in the age when people were not educated, not did they have an explanation for the world. The people in power used the unseen diety to manipulate and get control of the people, such as the Taliban who tried in Afghanistan, they knew an educated enlightened population would not buy it and so they restricted education and cut off all information to the outside world.

Logic & critical thinking dictates that you can't just go around stating that invisible" things" exist and then ask others to prove that they do not. Logic dictates that if you are going to state that something invisible is there, you had better be able to prove it.

Up to recent times many of us saw religion as harmless nonsense. Beliefs which lack all supporting evidence, but we thought, if illiterate, uneducated, simple people needed a crutch for consolation, where's the harm? But all that has changed since 9/11. The belief in invisible beings is not harmless nonsense any longer, it can be lethally dangerous nonsense. Dangerous because it gives people unshakeable confidence in their own righteousness. Dangerous because it gives them false courage to kill themselves , which automatically removes normal human feelings to killing others who differ from their beliefs. Dangerous because it teaches enmity to other humans labelled only by a difference of inherited tradition (religion), and dangerous because no one could , discuss Islam on pain of being slaughtered like what happened to Van Gogh in Holland, Salman Rushdie, Danish cartoonists and so forth. Islam expects & demands protectection from normal criticism/discussion.

Its time the West stops being so darned respectful & be fearful of the consequences of Islamofascists.
