Steyn's way of putting his words isn't any helpful

It's like being slapped in the face and then offered help by the same person who just slapped you.
I will agree that the nanny state has deeply hurt European society - thanks to it companies throw out people when they have reached their 60s and wont hire people in their late 50s, people see work as a necessary evil rather than something that should be part of life for as long as you live in one form or another, it has given shelter to immigrants who don't deserve it - it has truly weakened the European society in many ways, in my opinion; free education is the only good thing that has come out of it.

It's painful but it's hard to do anything about it, and it's not done any easier by the fact that the media and the politicians are trying to distort the facts about the Islamic takeover.
People would be outraged if they knew that some of our countries are beginning to have Muslim majority birthstatistics but no media digs any deeper into this issue. We have been betrayed, that's a fact, and it's painful.
I hope that some American media within a year or so will go full frontal on this issue and report about what is taking place in Europe on such a level that it can't be ignored by our own leaders, regardless of how much the Islamist community whines.
