The difference between the US and Europe

in response to reader comment: "Europe is dying and America isn't"

The main difference between the US and Europe is in the US, when immigrants come we accept them and they become "AMERICANS". They are now part of the melting pot. Like Mexicans or any other ethnic group they come and add something different to the taste of America. But in Europe when a Muslim or whoever comes to your country you are European and they are Muslims. They never become German or whatever. They are seperate and not equal, and there are still a lot of racism going on in Europe compared to the US, where if you say something racist on TV or at work you will be automatically fired -for example Imus on CBS talk radio where he said some slightly racist things and was fired the next day. And he is a very respectable person until now. But in Europe there is still racism in sports and even on this web sight. One more thing, I AM AMERICAN AND DAMN PROUD. NO ONE WILL EVER TAKE AWAY FROM ME THE RIGHT TO BE AN AMERICAN.
