Each time you utter the word "immigration", you are already being a racist. I hate the immigration- debate, because there is no middle-ground. You are either pro-immigration and pro-multiculturalism, or you are a racist. If you read my previous post- in the past year- I am sure you can find a racist word. The I-word is dangerous territory for us Europeans and, especially, for southern-Europeans like myself.

Let us look at the situation and assess it objectively. Italy has got the highest immigration-rate in Europe and Spain comes second. France has got the worse situation of us all. Is racism good or bad? Well, I would say it is morally wrong. And is immigration good or bad? This is a tough question. If we say that immigration is good, then we must accept the fact that Muslim Europe is good. Why? Because most immigrants are Muslims. Moroccans, Algerians, Pakistanis, Turks, Iranians and Arab Muslims constitute the bulk of immigration into Europe.

Now, this is a large- scale phenomenon, involving millions of people. This is mass immigration, because entire villages of Algeria have re-located to France and entire villages of Morocco have re-located to Italy. Then, of course, there is that petty issue of Muslim Turkey in the Eurpean Union. Therefore, we need to make up our minds. Either we want to become the Islamic States of Europe, or we take a different path. Now, I don't hate anybody in this world. My parents went to Morocco and they told me how beautiful it is and how nice the Moroccans are. However, we need to make a decision. Do we want to be the Islamic States of Europe? As far as I am concerned, the answer is "no".

Therefore, our immigration policies need to change.
