"Islam is a beacon of hope for humanity." -- Mu'een Ud Deen [hereinafter referred to as M.U.D]

I have no clue as to how M.U.D. thinks that his (her?) brand of Islam has anything to offer besides murder and mayhem, unless it is merely mindless repetition of perverted doctrine. For some reason the rest of the world, because it is imperfect, is used to justify all of the crimes committed by savages in the name of Islam. How does that equation balance?

We are told that, "Just a few days ago it emerged that a 14 year old MUSLIM girl was raped and her family killed by a group of so-called US Coalition troops." But that was an ISOLATED CASE which Westerners CONDEMNED, AND PROSECUTED, as with any of the VERY RARE similar occurences. How then does this defect proove that Islam's deviant adherents are justified in committing numerous similar and worse violent acts on an almost daily basis, and whose crimes are never condemned and virtually never prosecuted?

In fact, most ISLAMISTS PRAISE THE EVIL they commit, and use our few crimes to justify their many. They blame us for their atrocities, with words like, "So many people wonder where these so-called 'Islamists' come from and the answer lies in people like you." ...without seeing that their claim is utterly baseless.

It's interesting that prior to the modern Islamist movement there were many sane and decent Muslims, as testified by this information, from Manfred Lehman....

"[One] ...Moslem, who, in the modern era, understood that times have changed and the hand of brotherly neighborliness should be held out to the Jewish returnees to their Land, was King Feisal, the initial ruler over Syria after World War I. His famous letter to Judge Felix Frankfurter, written during the peace negotiations in Versailles, in 1919, reads as follows:

Dear Dr. Frankfurter,
We Arabs look with the deepest sympathy on the Zionist Movement. We will wish the Jews a most hearty welcome home. I hope the Arabs may soon be in a position to make the Jews some return for their kindness. There is room in Syria for us both. Indeed, I think that neither can be a real success without the other.

Yours sincerely,
Feisal "
This letter is without doubt at least partly inspired by the Koran passage promising Jews the return to their Land."

But still, M.U.D. remains adamantly deluded.

"Then you wonder why there are Islamists and such insurgency in Iraq because the truth is Islam isn't the disease - you are." -- M.U.D.

No, M.U.D., we don't "wonder" why you and your ilk act the way they do. We know it has nothing to do with the excuses you offer, and nothing to do with how sane Muslims practice their religion. You may see us, quite rightly, as flawed, but your response of plunging the world into a bottomless pit of savagery by multiplying crimes instead of preventing them isn't justice, it's pure evil.
