that is not true, the reality is that If you are American or Canadian soldier, neither Rome nor Paris can hold you before the court of Justice. It needs to be done the way we do it in North America. Capice!

so don`t tell me that I should obey the European law and give my passport to some one who can steal it and run away.

My passport is more precious than money, may be Europeans passports are not, that is not my business..

By the way, the French Gendarmerie guy started speaking impolitely trying to solve the problem and I asked him to either speak nice and clear or I will not talk to him until he calls my country`s mission..He spoke nicely with me, and badly with the rest.. we are not ignorants and we go to Europe as consumers, not economic refugees. In business we say, customer is the king! that is why we North Americans do it there the way we do it here..
