The way Christian Europe treated its Jewish populations throughout its dark barbarian Middle Ages and culminating with the "modern" Holocaust .

- I just love the emphasis that is placed on Christian rather than secular Europe and it's inferred collective, rather than Germanic, responsibility for The Holocaust. Regrettably, the Bible is full of material that can be exploited by the aspiring demagogue looking for a scapegoat but this is due in no small part to the fact that this material all seems to relate to the barbarous treatment of the early Christians by their fellow Jews for being members of this burgeoning cult. Barbarism begets barbarism and nursing ancient grudges is the central cause of most of our disputes. Who cast the first stone? It depends on how far we are willing to back in history.

If you want to go back 50 years and pull out a grievance someone else is just as justified in going back 2000. Where does it end? And given the fact that the bulk of the US population stems from that same barbaric European stock what absolves them from these sins? Is it the weaponry that they supply Israel? If Europe were to supply you with a few tanks would that let us off the collective hook? Or the Australians? Labelling Europe 'Christian' in this context given it's patchwork of secular states does nothing less that illuminate the inverted bigotry of the supposed victim.

What is the purpose of this other than to drive a wedge between the Jew and the so-called Christian? Presumably this is an agent of Islam at work.

6 million Jews. FIFTY-FOUR million non-Jews. Both terrible statistics but for some reason only one of these figures is drummed into all of our heads from birth. Ad nauseum. Get some perspective.
