"Everyone seems to think Islam is a violent religion! Where is the proof that Islam forcefully converted non-Muslims in the day of the phrophet(s.a.w)?"

Said by someone who quotes osama bin laden. it's tragic and comic at the same time

The proof that your caravan robber forced conversion is here

Your "perfect prophet" (perfect in murdering and finding a good excuse for it) went around Medina rounding up the Jewish "tribes" (extended families) forcing them to convert to Islam or be killed. When he turned on the Banu Qurayzah, he sat on a small mound and watched his men behead 900 of them in one afternoon.

"Just because history say Islam is a violent religion doesn't mean it is."

Well, history is still a better source than brainwashed muslims like yourself.

I make you an example, history teaches us that the french revolution started in 1789? well guess what, IT REALLY STARTED in 1789. History teaches us that Gengis Kahn conquered more or less the whole ASIA, well (drum rolls) HE REALLY DID IT!

That's why history is a better source than your koran.

"Look at the example of the Romans and Celts. The Romans were remembered in history as liberators whilst the Celts were remembered as barbarians. "

well in the west we have this habit to STUDY AND STUDY AND STUDY to improve our knowledge. Declaring one people was this or that pertains to critical thinking that can be objected if needed. You cannot do it because muslims don't possess critical thinking.

"Not many people know that the Roman Empire re-wrote history for their own benefits, they were themselves the Barbarians - this is a well known fact among historians. No-one in this forum can deny this and show me evidence otherwise."

well I don't know what you "studied" ...but in my country we knew this already. I was in primary school and I got that the barbarians weren't really that barbarian.

The moors (muslims) instead, were and brought only looters, destruction and poverty.

So be quiet about your "assumptions" about what WE study in western schools.

"So how do you not know people fabricated parts of history to show Islam in a negative light. "

Islam is in negative light even in 2006.

"Not much RELIABLE evidence of Islamic violence exist within that era. Yes, there might have been wars but that doesn't necessarily mean the inhabitents were mistreated."

LOL, the dhimmi status predates the RACIST apartheid. You had SLAVES and UNLIKE many other rulers (Gengis Kahn, Ivan the terrible etc) the caliph was IMPOSING islam on the conquered lands.

"As for Genesis, look carefully my friend and understand the bible before you speak. I myself have read this;"

hey mujaideen, we don't care about how scientific are the stories on the bible. I remind you it's MUSLIMS who look at the koran to learn how to clean their rear ...
