Reader comment on item: Britain's Encounter with Islamic Law

Submitted by Rachel Garber (United States), Feb 12, 2008 at 17:46

I recently read on one of the websites that sends me news, that the intention of the Islamic world is to force Islam on the Western world, and so it has begun. Regarding the obfuscation of the legal system in England as far as the desire not to inflame the Muslim community, "criminal murderers", that would distinguish them from what, non-criminal murderers. Violent extremism, are most violent people extremist in some way, whether it is hatred for a person, a group, or a form of government.

Talk about double speak. George Orwell proposed a take-over of the British system in 1984 and Animal Farm, and it seems to have come about a few decades late, however, unlike the assumption that it would come from the left in the guise of Communism, it is coming from the right in the guise of Islam. And the concept of dhimmitude falls right in line with the famous phrase from Animal Farm, "All animals are created equal, but some animals are more equal than others"

It most especially pleases me that the words come from the mouth of pigs, since as the meat from swine is forbidden to us Jews, it is also forbidden to Muslims. But hey, I borrow imagery from the most relevant sources. On the other hand, maybe this is their payback for all the years of the forced British imperialism on India and Africa just to name two countries they "owned" As an aside, I couldn't help thinking that the picture of the Archbishop of Canterbury does look like a "silly old goat", and most people know who the goat has symbolized in mythology and demonolgy. I was under the impression, that when people move to another country, they are expected to follow the laws of their adopted country, not try to force their laws on that country. In Judaism we have the concept of a "get" for dissolution of religious marriages, however we still have to abide by the civil laws regarding divorce in this or any other country.

England seems to be bending over backward to "accomodate" the Muslim population. If the majority of the Muslims in England are no represented by the "extremists," they would do well to speak out against these people. Oh, I forgot, the penalty for not following the party line is death to the "traitors," just as death is the punishment to Arabs who dare sell their own land to Israeli Jews. You've gotta love these people. They give new meaning to the word chutzpah.
