Reader comment on item: Britain's Encounter with Islamic Law

Submitted by S.C.Panda (India), Feb 15, 2008 at 04:13

Dear Prof Pipes,

Yesterday, I read this article in the Indian newspaper The Pioneer as well.

I would like to ask the revered archbishop of Canterbury Rowan Williams what is the fate and status of nonMuslim minorities in Islamic and Muslim majority countries. His espousal of Shari'ah only gives legitimacy to the terrorists brutal activities.

The time has come to unite all civilised nations and their peoples to resist them( terrorists) in a very resolute manner defeat them in no uncertain terms.

Regards, S.C.Panda, India
