The Crescent Sunset Over England (and Londonistan)

Reader comment on item: Britain's Encounter with Islamic Law

Submitted by David Sabghir (United States), Feb 12, 2008 at 16:55

From the contents of this article, it is fairly clear that England as we know it is in full decline and is virtually finished.

The official requirement of using euphemisms to refer to Islam is straight out of "Animal Farm".

The recognition of polygamy is truly regrettable, but unavoidable, as it was allowed in parts of the British Commonwealth.

As far as I can determine, Britain is getting what it justly deserves.

However, this is really predictable because arbitration courts' decisions are enforcible and the parties to the arbitration can agree to use contractual and other standards as long as those standards are not in conflict with British Law. Thus, citing Sharia that is in consonance with Common Law, is commonplace. The trick is that allowing non-British Law to be cited, can creep into the process, for example, polygamy. Where does it stop? Beats me. After all, they just have a slightly different interpretation of an "eye for an eye". It is insidious. But, that is a society in decline, which is precisely what Islam has been saying about the West.

In short, a society which is confused about right and wrong, is going in the wrong direction. We have many elements of that in the United States as well. We may not be too far behind!

This is truly sad.
