Dear Mitch,

I try to catch Lou Dobbs on CNN. I don't agree with everything he has to say but, I like his advocacy for the average U.S. citizen. There is nothing complicated about him. He comes across to me as genuine and someone deeply concern with the political direction the United States is taking.

Thanks for the link to the video. I will try to view it soon.

As for Obama? I don't know anything really about him. I did hear some from his wife on Larry King when I was channel surfing yesterday. I liked her. She sounded squared away. But I have no idea how much of what she said was scripted or how much was genuinely heart felt. I do believe though if Obama is elected it will only be because all of your nations other leaders before him have played the electorate for fools. I mean, when they do the polls and x number of blacks are voting for a leader because he's not white, and x number of women are voting for a leader because she's not a man. The joke has gone too far.

It isn't just in the U.S.. We in Canada have about had it with the lies and being played for fools. We have this clown Stephane Dion giving it the old college try. I hope he's not successful but, the victims in our societies must be made to feel special. The old free, democratic countries, have been bamboozled by the far left into believing that governing by ethnocentric and special interest is democracy in action and the dimwits who are supposed to be our leaders play along because it makes their life easier.

Meanwhile our countries become less and less the functioning democracies they ought to be. They spoof us with petty fears, sock puppet images of the boogieman with one hand while stealing our democracy with the other. We are supposed to focus on Islam now, rather than how our democracies are being pillaged as we stray further from those principles. Especially the rule of law. As an ex-serviceman my heart really goes out to our men and women in uniform overseas doing the hard work to give some strangers in a foreign land the opportunity to experience the freedoms some of our own seem to take for granted, and are blind to the cost that had to be paid for that freedom. I was reading another posters comments and he was asking where was a Churchill for the U.K.

I have a quote from Churchill that is very appropriate for today as it was 60 years ago. "(The government) go on in strange paradox, decided only to be undecided, resolved to be irresolute, adamant for drift, solid for fluidity". Winston Churchill, November 12, 1936
